    Assemble all the ingredients.

    In a cup or small bowl, stir together the unpopped popcorn and oil.

    Transfer the coated corn to a brown paper lunch bag, sprinkle in the salt, then fold the top of the bag over twice to seal the ingredients inside.

    Microwave on full power for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until there are about 2 seconds between pops; open the bag carefully to avoid steam, then pour into a serving bowl.
